Emma Claye

Emma Claye is an actress, singer, and songwriter based in New York City. Most recently, Emma performed in the And Peggy tour of Hamilton where she understudied each of the Schuyler Sisters and performed throughout the west coast and Canada. She’s studied at The New York Film Academy, Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Upright Citizens Brigade, British Academy of Dramatic Art at Oxford University, and currently trains at Actor Therapy and with Anthony Abeson. Her film/TV credits include Blue Bloods, Harlem, and Blindspot and she’s been seen in commercial campaigns for Imperfect Foods, Blue Apron, Martell Cognac, and more.

As a vocalist, Emma has performed at various venues from the Kennedy Center to Rockwood Music Hall. In addition to performing, she is also a songwriter and released her first single “I Imagine Love” in 2019 and her most recent singles “I Imagine Love (Remix)”, “bird song”, and “Tired” in 2024 on all major streaming platforms. Emma has also been featured on on the original and remix versions of “Dancing Company” by Otto Botte and “Over Me” by Avgust. Currently, she is continuing her training, writing, and recording music for her next musical release in 2025.

Prior to pursuing her passion for the performing arts, Emma earned a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland, College Park (Go Terps!) and Master of Public Health from Yale University. In her spare time, she loves reading and exploring her creativity through writing, knitting, and “kitchen experiments” (aka cooking).
